I was looking around for inspiration for my assignment and I found this:
I want to do school portraits of people from a different decade. I thought it would be good for me since I don't work with models often, it'll give me something different to try.

  1. Casting is of the most importance, along with a good wardrobe combing ate the Goodwill.

I would think about character development and other issues you can bring to the table.

An example would be ideas of gender, class, and social status. What do you glean about a person when looking at a yearbook?

I also will bring a book by Mike Kelly.

  2. I enjoy that you're planning on doing something involving costumes, it's very you in content and I think you embrace it naturally enough to produce an excellent series of images from it. Be sure to take it to the next step as well. Should there be any props involved in these images? What hair styles should you choose? Do you need product from that time period to achieve any of them? But just like Joseph said, focus on casting, casting, casting first. Everything else flows from that.
